Project Description:

During her period of service at the Circle 4 Success after school program, Stephanye Johnson oversaw its youth newsletter club, King's Kids News.  The club was entirely student-led, from content to distribution.  Students learned to use Microsoft Publisher and Word hands-on by typing, editing, recording, and researching online.  Stephanye's final project was a manual for creating a newsletter for students, grades 3-6.  This manual provides a step-by-step walkthrough of her process using Microsoft Publisher, recommending layout ideas, topics for content, and strategies for distribution.
