Lexington Rescue Mission

Organization Description:

Whether it's an elderly man in need of a hot meal, a single mom who struggles to keep the heat on in the winter or a man addicted to drugs and alcohol in need of a fresh start, Lexington Rescue Mission is in the center of our community ready to help.

We strive to meet the basic physical needs of the broken, the vulnerable and the poor. But we also know that their needs often go deeper than a warm bed or a hot meal. We work to address those needs by teaching life skills, providing housing and employment counseling and helping men overcome their addictions to drugs and alcohol. In everything we do, we strive to meet the spiritual needs of those who come to us.

We know that God is a restorer of lives, making that which is broken whole again. We see it through real lives that have been changed.
