Oliver Gospel Mission

Ours is a gospel rescue mission. We have been in our present location since 1888. We serve two populations: community homeless men who are looking for a place to eat and sleep and clothes to wear and addicted men who are looking for a way out of their addiction.

Neither popluation need be a Christian when they enter or when they leave; however, we share the good and hope-filled new of the gospel with them daily. Many are Christians who are captured by sin (Aren't we all?) and who have lost their way out. By God's grace, we have found a way out of our addiction to sin and share it freely with these men. Some learn from us and escape their addiction - by God's grace - and some do not.
