Good Leaven Ministries Inc.
Good Leaven Ministries is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in the spring of 2006 in Arizona to a provide a high-quality low-cost respite and retreat center for youth organizations serving Arizona’s teens. Located on 20 acres northeast of Show Low, Arizona, the facilities are also available to other organizations and age groups seeking a retreat experience in a pristine mountain setting.
GLM approaches teen service differently than other providers in Arizona. Focusing on small youth ministries that serve the teen community, GLM provides the infrastructure and services necessary to support the organization while allowing the visiting organization to run their activities. This synergistic combination of resources benefits the youth organizations by allowing teens to experience the joy and excitement of an outdoors retreat, while the organization benefits by providing a safe and effective location at a price that is easily within their budget and without overburdening the adult volunteers that frequently provide the manpower for the retreat experience.
Good Leaven Ministries is about changing lives. Our mission is to provide a quality Christian-based respite and retreat center to Arizona's youth and the organizations that support them, allowing them to find recovery in the discovery of Christ and realign their lives, in a manner that is affordable, effective, and enjoyable.
