On the 19th December 2008 Save African Child Uganda was officially registered with the office of community development organization in Mukono district as a Community Based Organization (CBO).

The organization provides curative, preventive, promotive and supportive health, agricultural, education and other development service to the community in our catchment area of Najjembe subcounty.

SAVE AFRICAN CHILD UGANDA is a multi-dimensional organization seeking to provide a wide range of services to orphans, street kids and other children held back by poverty, abandonment, abuse, or other difficult circumstances.

Save African Child Uganda is a voluntary, non-partisan, non-governmental organization seeking to operate under Biblical Christian principles and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Our mission: To cater for orphans and vulnerable children and abandoned children who are in age bracket of 3- 10 years in this we have set up a home for the children mentioned above, in which we offer to them accommodation, food, clothing, medication and free education and to training and assistance to empower widows and single parents and enable them to keep and provide economically for their own children.

save african child uganda which is an orphanage project that has been started up by a volunteer from Spain, he is a good friend of My younger sister by the name Namiro, we have started up an orphanage project based in Mukono district Uganda although in time we shall emerge national wide. Am a christian brought up by my grandmother after the death of our parents. so am an orphan, its why am ready to help my fellow orphans to attain the basic needs. our email is saveafricanchilduganda@gmail.com www.sacuganda.com +256 752499509 Our mission is to eradicate HIV/AIDS from communities by raising awareness about its transmission and prevention, to counsel about coping mechanisms for those affected and infected and to bring them hope through the gospel of Jesus Christ. To support this mission, four different ministries have been developed. They are free to churches and communities and operate with church volunteers. The increasing numbers of orphans in Uganda come as a result of HIV/AIDS in the communities. There fore it should be taken as the first consideration when thinking account decreasing the number of orphans in the community.

• Provide individual care and psychosocial support to families dealing with HIV/AIDS.
• Support community HIV/AIDS coping mechanisms through education in community gatherings and conferences.
• Develop HIV prevention activities through education, drama and song.
• Provide volunteer counselor and home-care team training
• Engage youth and adults in vocational training such as animal husbandry, agriculture, poultry, sewing, etc. and after introducing micro finance program to support the participants after training.
• Offer limited free basic education to orphans and vulnerable children by volunteer community workers
• Involve youth in supervised and structured social gatherings and co-curricular activities.
• Outreach effort to develop community interaction and build social involvement. Benefits the project brought to children and adults affected by HIV/AIDS:
• Reduces stigma and discrimination in the community.
• Provides emotional, physical, medical and vocational support for the HIV/AIDS affected
• Develops talents and skills.
• Supports HIV prevention activities that encourage behavior change.
• Encourages the community to become a part of caring for the future of its children.
• Provides optimal use of free time for orphans and vulnerable children.
• Enables volunteer training that allows the community to develop.

Organizational Statement of Faith: 

We envision a future in which local Ugandans in the Mukono District will have the tools and the means to effectively create and facilitate their own health and development solutions using international human and technological resources.

Also has a vision we hope to establish a world-class Children’s Hospital and Medical Complex that will serve as the focal centre of community and project’s healthcare activities.
The aim is to be a positive influence upon the health of future generations of Ugandan children.
