Set Me Free Ministries

Organization Description:

Our ministry is committed to teaching people how to live victoriously on a daily basis. Our goal is to help you get everything out of life that Christ has to offer. As a ministry that provides a free event, we open the doors to everyone, including those who otherwise may not be able to afford to attend. By offering a free lunch and free childcare, we offer respite to those moms who wouldn't normally be able to get away for a day. By offering a complete event, we give church leaders an opportunity to be ministered to. We provide ministry to women, men, and youth. Events of all sizes, including full community events that offer free admission, free childcare, and free lunch. Our heart is that no one is ever turned away from hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

Statement Of Faith

We believe that there is one God. (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Timothy 2:5)
We believe in the Holy Trinity. The Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit are three in one. (Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin birth and is the Son of God. (Luke 1:34)
We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and that He came to earth as God in the form of a human man. (Philippians 2:5-7, 11)
We believe that Jesus came to earth to die on the cross and take the burden of all of our sins so that we may have salvation. (Matthew 1:21;
John 10:11, 15; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 3:24-25, 5:8; Philippians 2:8;
1 Timothy 1:15)
We believe that the Holy Spirit was sent by God to dwell within those who are believers of Christ. Our gifts, power, and strength as followers of Christ come directly from the Holy Spirit. (John 14:16-17, 14:26, 16:7-13;
1 Corinthians 6:19, 12:4-11; Ephesians 4:30, 5:18)
We believe that there is one way to receive salvation, and that is through Jesus Christ. (John 1:12, 3:3-8, 16, 18; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:24; Ephesians 1:7;
1 John 1:9)
We believe that salvation is a gift. There is no amount of works that we
can do to earn it, but we receive it by grace alone. (Ephesians 2:8-10;
Titus 2:11-14)
We believe that man was created in the image of God and was given dominion over the earth. (Genesis 1:26)
We believe that the fall of man confirms both that we are sinners destined to eternal separation from God outside of Jesus Christ and that God is personal and full of redemption. (Genesis 3:1-19; Ephesians 1:7,14; 1 John 1:8; Romans 3:10-18, 5:12)
We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, written by man yet inspired and authored by God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
We believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead and ascended into heaven until the day of His return! (John 19:38-42, 20:1-9; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; Hebrews 9:28)
