E-mail Template for Requesting Links from Volunteer Site Backlinks
(this e-mail template would be good when contacting Non-Christian organizations)
Subject: Link Request
I saw that you had a link on your site to VolunteerMatch (or other name???), and I wanted to see if you would consider adding a link to our website ChristianVolunteering.org. ChristianVolunteering.org is the faith-based counterpart to VolunteerMatch (or other name???) with national partnerships with the Salvation Army, Rescue Missions, World Vision and other organizations that serve over 35 million individuals from under-resourced communities each year.
While our specialty is with faith-based organizations, we do not discriminate among organizations or volunteers in whom we serve. Because of this focus, ChristianVoluntering.org has more volunteer opportunities with faith-based organizations than any other site. In particular what we are trying to use this focus to be able to partnering with thousands of churches to serve as a source of volunteers (since the faith-based volunteer market is valued at $51.8 billion).
If you are willing to add a link, you could use something like ChristianVolunteering.org: Volunteer in Faith-Based Charities (http://www.christianvolunteering.org). Thanks so much for your consideration! Let me know if you have any questions.
