Windgate Charitable Trust is interested in programs that promote the idea of healthy family relationships through education programs for parents, conferences for marriage enrichment, classes to develop well-rounded children devoted to their families and programs focused on the visual arts and art history and restoration, among other things.
Windgate Charitable Trust does not have defined geographic limitations when looking at applications, except they only consider requests in the United States. However, they look favorably on projects in the central region of the United States, and more on projects that serve the community need in Northwest Arkansas.

Interested applicants should call or contact Windgate Charitable Trust before sending in a full application. To apply for a grant, please submit these materials to the above address:
- A letter of less than two pages from your CEO or board chairman containing the history and purpose of your organization, a summary of your project request, a description of the sources any anticipated gifts needed to complete the project and proposed process and outcomes measures for be incorporated into an evaluation report for the project.
- A copy of the latest IRS tax exempt decision letter.
- A copy of your latest audited financial letter.
- A current budget, including your project budget.
- An updated categorized lists of gifts and pledges.
- A list of current board members.
Windgate requests that you only send one application every twelve months.
