Applicants should complete a preliminary application. This application should address the following areas: The organization's proposed project or activity, and and explanation of how the project will further the foundation's philosophical beliefs, an explanation of the organization's history and current tax status, an explanation of the organization's past experiences, as well as its ability to handle challenges inherent in these experiences.
The foundation would also like an explanation as to who is handling the proscribed project, as well as a list of experiences that demonstrate their ability to handle this project. The foundation will also require an explanation related to how the tentative funds will be invested in the project, etc.
$150,000 to Salvation Army of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan division; $24,000 to Racine Dominican Ministries; $20,000 to Saint Marcus Evangelist Lutheran Church; $3,000 to Word of Hope Ministries, Inc.
