The Foundation generally provides funding for organizations located in the greater Los Angeles area, but has a history of allocating funds in Washington D.C., Virginia, New York, Arizona, and South Africa. The foundation generally does not provide funding outside of the United States.

All applicants are required to submit proposals that includes the Foundation's Grant Application (which must be signed by the organizations Executive Director), a brief description of the organization's history, a list of the organizations Board of Directors, a recent copy of the organization's 501©3 ruling from the Internal Revenue Service.
The foundation will not offer funding for publishing books, nor for the broadcasting of television and/or radio programs. Any request for travel related funding, as well as for advertisement, individual scholarships, and/or political donations and endowments will not be considered.
