Habitat for Humanity of High Point, Archdale, and Trinity
Habitat for Humanity of High Point, Archdale, and Trinity was organized in 1987. We completed our 65th home at the end of 2007. We build interest-free safe, decent, affordable homes that are sold to families who apply and meet certain criteria. Each family member over the age of 18 must complete 250 hours of "sweat equity" on theirs or another person's home. Habitat provides a Hand Up...not a Hand Out. We build on Wednesdays - Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. We have a Habitat Bargain Restore that is open Tuesdays - Fridays from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. we need volunteers for both areas plus some for office work.
Habitat for Humanity of High Point, Archdale, and Trinity works in partnership with God and with people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with God's people in need by building and renovating houses so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which people can live and grow into all that God intended.
