At United Urban Ministries we believe that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and was sent here the only man without sin.

We believe that he is Emanuel or that he is God among us and is still alive and is the head of the church.

We believe that he suffered and was crucified for our sins and that he rose from the dead with all power in his hands.

We believe that his power is still with us manifested by God’s word and the power of the Holy Ghost which dwells in us all.

We believe that Jesus ascended into heaven where he remains at the right hand of God Almighty and is still alive waiting till the day when he returns to earth.

We believe that you spend eternity in heaven or hell and that the choice of where you spend eternity is based on your decision to accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior. This decision is manifested at the physical death of the body and begins when the soul has left the body.

We believe the Bible is the incorruptible word of God and that the Bible is absolutely true. Written by God’s divine appointment and given as prophecy.

We believe that the Bible is the will of God.

We believe that we have a right to what the Bible says we have a right to.

We believe we can do what the Bible says we can do, and we believe we can have all the Bible says we can have.

We believe that we should do what the Bible says we should do and that we should live according to its principles, laws and precepts.

We believe that God wants us to prosper and to live abundant lives.

We believe in Christian Discipleship and that all Christians are called by Jesus to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, minister to the poor, heal the sick, cast out demons, to help the afflicted and the persecuted in this world.

We believe in Baptism in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost and the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

We believe in Prayer and the power of prayer either by petition, supplication, intercession, confession, or by repentance.

We believe that by faith that if we believe when we pray that we will receive whatever we pray for as long as it is within the will of God.

We believe in the sacrifice of tithes and offerings to the church because we know that if we bless God then God will bless us with abundance, increase, and riches without sorrow.
