Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton, a faith-inspired human service agency with over 100 years of experience, is trusted by the community to be inclusive and non-discriminatory in providing professional services to physically and sexually abused children, the elderly, people who are homeless or hungry, girls and women experiencing crisis pregnancies, the seriously mentally ill, people struggling with addictions to alcohol and other drugs, people suffering with AIDS or HIV infection, children in need of a family or home, and families, couples, and individuals in need of counseling.
Services are provided through 58 programs at 34 service sites and 72 residential sites in Burlington, Mercer, Monmouth, and Ocean Counties. With the dedication and competence of 686 staff and 250 volunteers, Catholic Charities provides care to more than 100,000 people each year and touches the lives of one in every 19 residents of central New Jersey.
