Y-PALS Governor's One-on-One Mentoring Program
Organization Description:
Y-Pals is a Governor’s One on One Program and is an integral part of the Gaston Family YMCA. The program matches youth ages 6 to 17 with responsible adult volunteers. These volunteers are screened and trained to serve as positive role models and consistent friends to the youth with whom they are matched. Volunteers are asked to spend 8 hours a month for 1 year with a young person.
