Pro-Life Volunteer Corps
All services activities take place in the greater Los Angeles area. We are looking for women ages approximately 21-65, who desire to work in the pro-life movement and who believe their work is empowered by a life of prayer, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
Service lasts for a period of one year and is renewable. Room and board, stipend, transportation, and medical insurance are provided. Volunteers live in community with one another and with the Sisters of Social Service. Volunteers participate in all the regular routine of community type daily living, including shopping and cooking duties, daily community prayer and daily mass.
The Pro-Life Volunteer Corps also known as Volunteers for Life is an organization dedicated to restoring society to a "culture of life." Its members believe that human life is a sacred gift from God and must be preserved from the moment of fertilization to the moment of natural death. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, they are called to a life of prayer and action.
The Pro-Life Volunteer Corps promotes the teachings of the Catholic Church in relation to sexuality, abortion, euthanasia and contraception.
