Meet ME Under the Bridge
Our non-profit group is dedicated to aiding those less fortunate who live on the streets. We meet weekly to feed and clothe the homeless and to spread GOD's unconditional love. It's all about the love. Our goal is to let them know about the love of JESUS and that they matter to HIM. Glory to GOD.
Our mission is to feed the hungry (homeless) physically, mentally and spiritually and empower people, at risk, to achieve a healthy and self sufficient life with spiritual wholeness. Our group is comprised of individual volunteers (missionaries) whose primary focus is to be the hands and feet of JESUS. We are the bible in action. In effect, we are all homeless. Earth is not our home. Our home is in Heaven. We feed, clothe, care, pray, witness, and love on the homeless living in downtown Indianapolis. We are showing the love of CHRIST through our actions and giving them hope that they have a Father in heaven who loves them even more.
Love can make a powerful difference in this world, and isn't that what God told us to do? "A new command I give you: Love one another. as I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this, all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." NIV John 13:34-35.
Proverbs 28:27 says, "He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses."
Matthew 25:40 "The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these, you did unto me."
