Personal Computers for Children, Inc.
There is a 5 member Board of Directors.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with adminstrative,
technology, and out-of-country support of various projects.
There are part-time positions available with flexible times
and numerous functions to be performed.
We are teaming with churches, schools, and the OLPC
(One Laptop Per Child) project to assist with the providing
of computer literacy tools to disadvantaged children in the
US and around the world. We have previously supplied
laptops and software to seven countries including India,
Kenya, and Nicaragua. Short term mission trip support
and activities are ongoing and expanding.
We are a non-profit company organized to promote better education and child development through computer technologies.
As a priority, PCC is committed to supporting missionary endeavors that involve education and computer literacy, with the end goal of empowering the local organization to being self supporting and locally run. Our emphasis is on Bible believing ministries (ministries consistent with our values). The ministries are defined by dependence on the Holy Spirit in directing its operation and ministry and the four functions of the church as defined by Acts 2:42.
