Christian Medical Fellowship:
Christian Medical Fellowship (CMF) is a nonprofit, nondenominational, Christian organization comprised of individuals that seeks to show God?s love to the needy while promoting faith and emotional well being through community outreach and international missions. Dr. Peter Schnatz, founded CMF in 1994 and is the current CEO and Chairman of Christian Medical Fellowship. The ministry brings together health care providers as well as non-medical personnel forming a team of individuals committed to helping others. The goal of CMF is to support the caregiver while serving the underserved. In other words, we seek to minister to and through the health care community. To the health care community by helping individuals to feel comfortable in their own faith journey while learning how to encourage others to have joy in their life. Through the health care community by helping individuals to use the gifts God has given them to serve the needy of the world.
CMF has chapters in Hartford and New Haven, CT, Fort Myers, FL and Jos, Nigeria. CMF is headquartered in Farmington, Connecticut and is a 501 (c) (3) corporation as defined by the IRS. On location in Nigeria, we have one full time Administrative Coordinator and a volunteer Chapter Director. At our Farmington headquarters our staff consists of a: Executive Director, Medical Director, Executive Admin Coordinator, Administrative Coordinator,Volunteer Coordinator.
An annual conference held in May, and all are welcome to attend.

Community based ministry:
Through the Christian Medical Fellowship Health Center (CMFHC) in Hartford, CT CMf is able to provide health services to those who cannot afford to see a physician.
CMF is supported, and, funded by local groups, individuals, and churches.
CMF does not represent one church or denomination.
The Health Care community:
Participation is not restricted to doctors and dentists, or nurses. Doctors, Nurses, Technicians, Ancillary staff, and lay people are welcome.
Commitment to meeting the spiritual needs of healthcare providers and patients:
We promote a curriculum discussing medical issues from a spiritual perspective. It may be of note that two thirds of medical schools offer courses on spirituality and health. Many patients want their physician or care provider to address spiritual issues
Service as an integral part of the fellowship:
There are no service requirements for participants. Professionals and students can participate in the curriculum and fellowship without committing themselves to mission service.
Mission participants are encouraged to attend monthly chapter meetings, should show compatibility with the faith initiatives, and should participate in the team building functions.
Opportunities for service:
Chapter involvement and helping promote individual faith. Community outreach International missions to Nigeria, Haiti, and Siberia. Local mission through our CMF free faith based health center, mission support functions, collecting, sorting and packing supplies Fund raising, publicity, prayer, volunteering in our warehouse and corporate office
