Center for International Voluntary Service
CIVS is a development organization supporting community-based development in Kenya for more than 10 years. CIVS supports community-based programs by integrating micro-finance and enterprise services into health care (including child survival, water and sanitation, and HIV/AIDS), sustainable market-oriented agriculture, emergencies, rehabilitation and peace-building. CIVS strengthens the capacities of local community organizations to carry out all aspects and stages of program activities by providing technical and managerial support.

CIVS is a non-profit agency formed in 1993, based in Kenya that offers innovative and competent support services to empower communities and organizations aimed at stimulating self-development initiatives among the disadvantaged; especially women as well as developing harmonious relations among people of different backgrounds and cultures.
We believe that through God everything is possible and that we are ambassadors of Jesus Christ on Earth.
