Our mission is to help the disadvantage people among the under-listed categories of people in the Northern Region of Ghana
Orphans: Our number one core responsibility is help care for orphans and abandoned infants.
Homeless children: children lacking the basic amenities of life, who do not attend school or learn a trade and have no home
Elderly: Physically feeble persons 70+ who have it difficult to make earns meet.

VOLUNTEERING WORK
Solace volunteering is on of the few agency that satisfy their voluntaries in terms of providing them with the right project they asked for and accommodation. Solace helpt it voluntaries to enter its country easily.
You must be 18 years of age to enable you participate in our Volunteering program.
There are have five project under which you can work.
Work places
• Orphanages or Children’s Home
• Kindergarten
• Hospitals
• Helping the Aged in the communities
• Schools

• Your own shared bedroom with woordrops
• Breakfast and supper or three meals (on request)
Solace-Ghana provides two different types of accommodation. Living with a host family, staying in a guesthouse or apartment. Usually participants of the programs are able to choose where they would like to stay but sometimes the nature of a project only permits a specific type of accommodation. Solace-Ghana recommends living in a host family or in a traditional house since that is the best way to get to know the local culture and the people.
