Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly (LBFE) is an international, non-denominational, volunteer based organization. Active in the Twin Cities Metropolitan area since 1972, Little Brothers–Friends of the Elderly has been pairing volunteers with older adults to combat the isolation and loneliness that often comes with aging. In addition to the one-to-one visits that are the heart of the organization, LBFE offers social activities, holiday celebrations, resource-finding assistance, mental health counseling, and more.
The mission of Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly is relieving isolation and loneliness among the elderly while promoting their independence and well-being.
