Organization Description: 

The YWCA of the National Capital Area is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving low-income women and men in the DC Metropolitan Area for over 100 years. The YWCA provides literacy and vocational training to women and men of the District. The YWCA also offers programs in Health & Wellness, and has been at the forefront of Racial and Social Justice issues for over 100 years. We have well trained staff who are sensitive to the needs of adult learners. We create an environment that is not only welcoming, but empowering.
