Mission Statement:

The mission of Texas HOPE Literacy is to transform offenders through peer literacy education within a Christian framework in order for them to successfully re-enter society as productive and contributing members of their community.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

HOPE is a non-denominational faith-based organization that honors Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, acknowledging that He is the only solution to the problem of sin, that He is the only One who changes the hearts of His creation. We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for sin, that His blood paid the price for sin, that He arose from the dead on the third day conquering death, hell, and the grave, that He is seated in heaven at the right hand of God daily interceding with the Father on behalf of His creation, that He is coming again to receive all of us who have put our faith and trust in Him to take us to the place that He has prepared for us, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
