Youth Travel & Development Exchanges (YUDES)
Youth Travel & Development Exchanges (YUDES) is a non-profit organization founded in 2003 and registered with the registration number G.11, 252 under Government of Ghana company code act 179 .The organization's main focus is to provide volunteering opportunities to the youth so as to build in them the spirit of volunteering as they offer their assistance to the needy and the underprivileged in the third world countries.The geographical location of YUDES in Ghana. YUDES has been at the forefront of providing help to the rural community of Ghana through volunteer program in rural areas in Eastern,Ashanti and Brong-Ahafo regions of Ghana.
YUDES working hours usually begins from 9:00am-5:30pm from Monday to Friday.However, Saturdays become a working day when there are number of volunteer arrivals and programs that require implementation over the weekend.
Volunteers participating in YUDES programs also benefit from integrating into the Ghanaian society through a well planned and programmed cultural immersion programs.This is done through our home-stay programs as the participants are given host families to stay with.
Orientation is given to participants immediately after arrival in Ghana to enable them adjust to the living conditions of the country.As the world's challenges grows complex and more challenging,YUDES program builds the capacity of the youth in both developed and the developing world to enable device solutions to the numerous problems faced by the world.
