The Well of Mercy
The organization offers a home environment with all participating in cooking, cleaning, and supporting each other. The onsite day care will offer each mother the ability to have access to online education while interacting with her children throughout the day. The mental health clinic will provide interventions to help with the healing process.
The Well of Mercy aims to offer pregnant mothers support for up to five years, while each one learns the skills needed to live a life that is faith filled, physically and emotionally healthy, and economically independent. The five year term should be enough time to let each mother complete the equivalent of a high school education, develop self - awareness and independent living skills, begin to heal past wounds and learn about child development and parenting skills.
The organization is definitely Christian incorporating prayer and spiritual direction from the church of choice. It is compulsary that each resident identify her faith base and be connected with her church.
