Excellent Productions
Excellent Productions began in 2001 as a group of young adults from Concord Baptist Church that wanted to provide and activity that young people could do with their children while offering good solid family entertainment for the community. Our first production was the ?Colored Museum? by George C. Wolfe. Since that time we have emerged into a thriving network of performers that are collectively striving toward creating new works that inspire and encourage new generations of creativity through positive forms of expressions in every art form. Through a developmental time with Excellent Productions the artist will acquire the needed experience to obtain employment in the entertainment market place.
It is our ambition that by stimulating dialog that questions the contemporary African-American identity through theater, music, film and dance that we will encourage young people to strive toward every imaginable goal they may have. And, by breaking the barriers that bind them, we can grow as an American people and a united spiritual community.
We are members of many denominations that believe in the power and resurrection of Jesus Christ; that have committed to being our brother's keeper in the development of the gifts and talents that God has placed in all of us.
