Bon Secours Volunteer Ministry
We are a full-time volunteer program, giving volunteers the opportunity to immerse themselves for a year in the spirit of service practiced by the sisters of Bon Secours. Through partnerships with other Bon Secours community organizations, our volunteers serve full-time in one of three areas: healthcare, education, or social services. Our program is based on 5 pillars, which our volunteers commit to live our during their year of service: develop community, learn through service, practice God's justice, live simply, and grow spiritually.
Bon Secours Volunteer Ministry, sponsored by the Sisters of Bon Secours, provides the opportunity for women and men to participate in the SistersÂ’ commitment to justice in radical solidarity with the poor, the suffering, and those most in need. By sharing the Bon Secours charism of compassion, healing, and liberation, the ministry nurtures and sustains individuals in their personal and communal journeys towards transformation through service with others.
We strive to provide "good help" to those in need by living the Bon Secours charism of compassion, healing, and liberation. We are a Catholic group, but welcome anyone who is willing to grow in their faith and participate in personal & communal prayer.
