RODI TOWNSHIP
Currently the project provides basic needs to the Orphans and other Vulnerable Children (OVC) in the project area of operation but needs immediate and urgent financial support. Needs of OVC a. Educational needs Which urgently requires / needs story books, exercise books, school bags, school supplies such as pens, pencils, crayons, rubbers, sets, calculators, writing pads, posters and charts on numbers, alphabets, globes and First Aid kits.
b. Clothing The children need clothes of various kinds and T-shirts, jackets etc
c. Medical care (drugs) Drugs of common children diseases as malaria, headache and stomach, ring worms etc. these are purchased locally at the pharmacy / chemist shops.
d. Food – children feeding program The project also undertakes the school children feeding programs of providing breakfast and lunch to the children. Therefore the project needs to purchase the following items: Maize, beans, millet, sorghum, cassava, salt, cooking fat, fish etc and also provide cooking pots, water containers, firewood for cooking, plates and mugs. We need volunteers to work at the school.

to work with children orphaned to enhance a participatory approach to development within a vision of creating hope and happiness in the like of God’s message “I will comfort them and turn their mourning in to joy”. Jeremiah 31:13. For the human person is the centre subject to development and should be active participants and beneficiaries of the right to development. The right to development is inalienable human right by virtue of which every human person all people are entitled to participate in, contribute to enjoy economic, social, cultural and political development in which all human rights and fundamental freedoms can be fully realized.
