We are a non-profit organization that believes in Christian values and practices the type of ethics demonstrated by Jesus Christ. With that being said, we believe in the sanctity of life including the unborn child, traditional marriage, purity, and training all people in the active practice of Christianity!
We have been helping the helpless for over 56 years! The leadership of Save A Child, Inc. has a history of work in community development, housing and community service efforts since 1956. The organization has been active in providing exemplary housing services to low to moderate income families, as well as faith based ministry services for those challenged with addiction and substance abuse issues. Dr. Tommy Moore is the President of Save A Child, Inc.
Our mission is to strengthen and encourage the traditional family unit, to serve the needs of abused, neglected and run-away children, including:
A. To maintain an inner city children's outreach with consistent weekly contact to meet the material, physical and emotional needs of underprivileged children.
B. To conduct programs to improve the education of disadvantaged children.
C. To provide emergency funds to meet the crisis needs of children, including medical, food and shelter, upon verification of need.
D. To provide housing for the homeless with emphasis on providing temporary shelter for families with children and assisting the parents in finding employment.
