JEK Development Foundation (JEKDEF)
Established in September 2005 as a result of passion for developing a Plan of Action with regards to the numerous crises that affect the general public of Cameroon in the Buea region. High rates of unemployment, social disintegration poverty and sufferings amongst the youths and some families. It is very common to see our youths, school leavers and graduates taking parts in activities such as crime and prostitution, just to escape from poverty and stress. Therefore, the project is created first of all, to educate, establish, contribute and encourage the development of the underprivileged poor and disabled in Cameroon in particular and the world at large.

Main Objective
To combat poverty, environmental degradation and to mobilize energies and resources to sustain self- sufficiency through education in the bid to ameliorate the living condition of the poor and rural underprivileged, the disabled and /or handicapped. Therefore, the Association is created first of all, to educate, establish, contribute and encourage the development of the underprivileged poor and disabled in Cameroon in particular and the world at large.
Mission
Our mission focuses on the improvement of the quality of lives of the community poor, underprivileged, unemployed, disable, youth, women and the handicap etcÂÂÂ? by making resources available and accessible to build their capacity and make them productive and self-reliant that will enable them to better address their environmental issues.
