Introduction: Abaana Community Outreach Africa (ACO-Africa) is an international, non-discriminatory, non-profit organization committed to providing support for the most vulnerable groups in society. We place an emphasis on education, health, psychosocial issues, economic empowerment, and nutrition, human and environmental rights. ACO Africa endeavors to ensure that children and other vulnerable people are made aware of their rights and are able to reach their full potential. Vision: ACO Africa?s vision is to care for children and other vulnerable groups. Mission: ACO Africa?s mission is to create sustainable socioeconomic changes capable of generating lasting impacts on communities affected by deprivation.

Key Activities include; ? Improving the livelihoods and status of vulnerable Children through supporting and caring for them to access essential needs such as education, clothes, food, and medical care. ? Counseling and recreational activities for vulnerable Children. ? Providing home and school based visits to positive living Children or other Vulnerable Children to monitor and empower them in adherence monitoring, hygiene and sanitation, education and Counseling. ? Creating rights awareness to vulnerable Children and youth in schools including reproductive health, rights, life skills, and behaviour change sessions. ? Conducting educational sessions with prisoners or inmates on behaviour change, relationship skills, HIV / AIDS, life skills and anger management. ? Conducting counseling and recreational activities with prisoners like counseling sessions with inmates on legal issues games and sports etc. ? Providing home based visits to positive living women to monitor and empower them in adherence monitoring, hygiene and sanitation, education and counseling, as well as economic empowerment to support their families.
