Trinity Cafe

Organization Description: 

Trinity Cafe has been a beacon of hope and compassion in the Tampa Bay community since 2001. Housed at the Salvation Army on Florida Avenue in Tampa, it serves over 200 hot, nutritious meals each and every weekday, including holidays. Anyone who comes to our door is welcome without question or qualification. We serve free meals to the hungry, homeless and working poor. The meals are prepared by a professional chef and served by volunteer servers, restaurant style, in courses. Guests are seated at cloth covered tables decorated with china, silver and flowers. A volunteer table host is seated at the table to offer conversation and a listening ear. Since Trinity Cafe's inception, it has served over 621,000.


Through our commitment to combating hunger and homelessness, we provide the support and respect guests need to encourage them to become self-sufficient and regain hope for the future. Trinity Cafe is a place of love, compassion, and dignity - a true lifeline to those in need.
