Helping Honduras Kids

Helping Honduras Kids exists to provide much needed food, education, shelter, and hope for abandoned, abused, and neglected children in Honduras. Honduras is one of the poorest countries in the world. We strive to provide aid to as many orphaned and vulnerable children as possible. Ultimately our goal is to enable these kids to become responsible, healthy, and fulfilled Christian adults, who are then empowered to instill those same values in their children and communities where they live. Children at our Jungle School (K-9 elementary/high school), Children's Home (orphanage) and at our Outreaches to local villages, are taught about Jesus Christ, His unending love for them, and that their life has a purpose. Prayer is part of everyday life in our school and children in the Hogar de Amor attend church several times each week. While each child's circumstances are unique and often tragic, all are loved and cared for by our teachers, staff, and volunteers. We believe that we are part of God's unfolding plan to make a difference in the youth of Honduras.
