Association Abana House, is a none profit organization started in Burundi in 2015 following the vision given by the Lord to its founder, Elodie Derain Bihannic in 2007, for the children of Burundi. After working as a volunteer since 2008 to start and develop the childrens ministry at the El Shaddai Church of Bujumbura, God has given Elodie a new direction to operate in the Education sector. In September 2015, a first step towards this vision was taken with the opening of a self-funded day care for small children. The desire burns in her heart to move forward with this vision and develop the day care into a fully functioning bilingual Christian school were the children from the day care and others are given the opportunity to continue to benefit from a good quality Education in the Lord. To support her in this vision, God has placed a devoted and trustworthy team of Christians by her side.

We believe children have a special place in the heart of God. We believe His will is to see them grow in the knowledge of Him, of His love and of His grace so they can become living testimonies of who he is. We believe that the values and principles transmitted to children at their young age will determine the future behavior and have a positive impact on the way they react to challenges they face in their lives, by keeping their eyes set on the Lord and impact the people around them. We believe that what is placed in the hearts and minds of our children is the foundation of their lives and that it can raise a new generation committed to the message of Jesus Christ. We believe that Gods will is to provide good quality education to His children so they can excel in all things and be a living testimony of His Glory.
We believe Jesus is the son of God, that he came to Earth 2000 years ago to take our place at the cross and to take the sins of the world. We believe that He deliberately accomplished the will of His Father, God, by doing so; that His blood was shed so that we could receive salvation. We believe Christ is raised from the dead and that He is at the right of the Father. We believe that, until He returns, He has sent us His Holy Spirit to work inside our hearts, so that all men will know the truth, will repent and will live a personal, deep and sincere relationship with the Lord.
