Organization Description: 

AACDS through its Youth Enrichment Program addresses five areas in youth development: academic enrichment; character development; skill/talent development; nutrition and physical fitness and abstinence awareness. it targets young people 6 to 18 years old with limited access to programs and activities in Brockton and surrounding South Shore communities.

Mission Statement: 

AACDS' mission is to change and empower the lives of Brockton residents and provide economic development projects for Brockton and its neighboring South Shore communities. AACDS will preserve, maintain and improve community conditions by providing child-care services, food/clothing programs, establish youth & adult mentoring programs, and support job creation.

Organizational Statement of Faith: 

AACDS believes that if the quality of life can be improved then the economic development will be enhanced. Through various economic developments projects and initiatives AACDS will increase the standard of living in Brockton and its surrounding comminities through sustained growth from a low-income economy to a moderate to high-income economy
