ACTION CENTER FOR CHILD AND FAMILY AFFAIRS

Action Center for Child and Family Affairs (ACCFA) is a fully registered indigenous Community Based Organization under registration number WCBO/65/13 with its headquarters in Nabweru Nansana town council Wakiso District Uganda. ACCFA was founded in 2011 by a group of 4 female and 2 male students from different Ugandan christian universities who felt to address the drastic and diverse impacts of domestic violence,HIV/AIDS,poverty,and abuse against children in particular. Since the time of inception, ACCFA has been running 3 programs: ? children safe(kcs) in different Primary and secondary schools ? youth and women empowerment ? community healthy improvement program However,due to the need and other community challenges ACCFA came up with another program which is child sponsorship that cater for school going children from the very poor families. ACCFA mission is to improve on the social and economic welfare of children in families and the community through empowerment s respectively.
