Organization Description:

ACTS is an African-based organization that is passionate about missions in Africa and about bringing Christian believers to serve God on our continent. We are dedicated to facilitating short-term mission trips, Christian volunteer opportunities and Christian holidays across Southern and East Africa.

We serve international Christian groups or individual volunteers by taking care of all aspects of travel, including flights, transport, accommodation, catering and crew required during their visit to Africa. With over 25 years experience on the ground in Africa, ACTS is perfectly placed to offer you the best possible African experience and to help you get the most out of your time here.

ACTS is passionate about Africa and God's plan of salvation for its people - to this end ACTS provides experienced and dedicated personnel to make any outreach or visit to Africa a Kingdom success. ACTS initiatives and volunteer projects are designed to empower African communities and to come along-side them as we delight in the glory and goodness of God's plan for Africa!

We work alongside local organizations, churches and missionaries for accountability and sustainability purposes, and are committed to giving10% of our received funds back towards ministry in Africa.

We pride ourselves in excellent service, including correspondence within 48 hours. Through our volunteer projects and mission trips, we facilitate over 3000 Christian volunteers annually from our three regional offices in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Kenya.

Our vision:

To extend the kingdom of God by:

1. Facilitation of logistics for Christian mission trips to Africa 2. Facilitation of short-term, individual, Christian volunteers in partnership with local churches/ministries 3. Facilitation of Christian holidays

Our mission:

Organizational Statement of Faith:

We believe in the Triune God, the Father, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit in all its statements.

Therefore we confess:
God the Father is creator and preserver of all.
Jesus Christ, true man and true God, is the Son of God. He is born of the virgin Mary and He has substitutionarily shed His blood on the cross for the sins of the whole world. He is bodily resurrected and has returned into the glory of God. He sits at the right hand of God and will manifestly return.
God has sent His Holy Spirit into the world, so that He might open the eyes of man in respect of sin, and of righteousness and of judgment and that He may reveal the whole divine truth to Gods redeemed.
Human nature is sinful. Only owing to redemption through the blood of Jesus can man by conversion and him being born again be justified before God.
The redeemed will rise from the dead in glory to eternal life; those who are not redeemed will pass into everlasting destruction.
All those who are born-again constitute the Church, the "Body of Christ".
The Church missionary command of Jesus is valid and binding: "Go therefore to all nations and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you". (Matthew 28: 19-20)
