Alliance Vision Educational Centre

Organization Description:

Alliance Vision Educational Center was initiated in January 2007 and registered in October 13th 2008. Our humble organization's ongoing project is a focused non-formal urban school that provides an education for the marginalized and disenfranchised children who live in the slum neighborhoods of Nairobi, Kenya.

The word 'alliance' means to come together for the same purpose and 'vision' simply means having an idea. so Alliance Vision Educational Center was formed by the people who had the feeling of providing education to less privileged pupils.

We are a Christian based organization that has the philanthropic heart of supporting orphans, vulnerable persons and even widows in the slum areas of Nairobi, Kenya and other parts of Kenya at large. After carrying out the research, we realized that the numbers of illiteracy is increasing in our country and even in other parts outside of Kenya where education is a forgotten issue. This is how the Alliance Vision Educational Center came to be.

The Alliance Vision Educational Center is located in Nairobi, Kenya, in Embakasi constituency-Dandora-Phase V behind Joy Villa's Ground.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

What We Believe:
1. We believe in one God, who exists in three Persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
2. We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired, accurate, and infallible authoritative Word, that will perfectly
guide us in all matters of life.
3. We believe that sin has separated us all from God, and that only through Jesus Christ can we be reconciled
to God, for Christ is our redemption.
4. We believe that Jesus Christ is both God and Man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the
Virgin Mary. He led a sinless life, took all our sins upon Himself, died and rose again. Today, He is seated
at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest, Mediator, and intercessor.
5. We believe that salvation is the gift of God to man. This gift is affected by grace through faith in Jesus
Christ and it produces works pleasing to God.
6. We believe that water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of God and a testimony of our faith in the
Lord Jesus Christ.
7. We believe that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter. He guides us in all areas of our lives. He also blesses us
with spiritual gifts and empowers us to yield the fruit of the Spirit.
8. We believe that the Holy Communion is a celebration of Jesus’ death and our remembrance of Him.
9. We believe that God wants to transform, heal and prosper us, so that we can live blessed and victorious
lives that will impact and help others.
10. We believe that we are called to preach the gospel to all nations.
11. We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again just as He promised.
