American Red Cross Southern Blood Services Region, we are a non-profit organization with a humanitarian mission of saving lives, by collecting and distributing half of the nation?s blood supply. We provide blood products to more than 100 medical facilities in 166 counties in Georgia alone, and without volunteers this task would be impossible. Volunteers are an essential part of our proud tradition of service to the community, the country and the world. Our organization is led by more than 1.5 million volunteers nationwide.
