Organization Description:

"The Angels of New Hope," which was established in October 2005. The mission of The Angels of New Hope’s project mission is to collaborate with and support existing non-profit organizations that are focused on charitable, education, and spiritual activities. Along with raising awareness about homelessness and advocate for homeless children and their education in support of the McKinney-Vento Act. I just would like to present a brief history of The Angels of New Hope and how it was established before you read the following letter to get a better idea of who we are and where we have come and where we would like to go in collaboration and the help of others that want decrease the number of those that are homeless. The Angels of New Hope was established in October 2005 in the honor and remembrance of Pastor Purnell Thomas Jr., leading pastor of New Hope Christian Church, my father, and retired Technical Sergeant of the United States Air Force, who sadly passed away February 2002. Pastor Thomas devoted his life to his country for 20 years and then to those less fortunate in the community that we lived in. The Angels of New Hope wants to keep his mission alive and follow suit with working with homeless youth and their families ensuring that youth get an opportunity to receive an education.
