Organization Description: 

African Rural Community Shepherds in Uganda is a registered CBO in Rakai district in Uganda East Africa. It is involved in child/youth ministry HIV/AIDS, AND ORPHANS, Vulnerable, Health and sanitation; Environment, Education support, peace makers international for development, poverty alleviation, schools empowerment and construction; women, orphans, vulnerable and community empowerment. It was started in 2007 having evolved from the shepherd Uganda established in 2001. We work with rural communities in matters of caring for orphans, widows, HIV/AIDS prevention and counseling as well as vulnerable; we want alleviate poverty and promote sustainable development, we encourage sanitation, health programs as well as environment protection and food nutrition through food and free fruit tree graving. We also encourage a peaceful community. We support vulnerable in education requirements.

Organizational Statement of Faith: 

At African Rural Community Shepherds in Uganda, children are the major reason and focus we exist and its therefore our major purpose to serve them in form of humanity like provision of Food, shelter and so many more as you shall read in our pages like Ecc 11:1 tells us to do good wherever we go and after a while the good we do shall come back to us.
