Organization Description:
This foundation is associated with AsreaCare Hospice. The Hospice is made up of a Medical Director,a team of Nurses, Aides, Social Workers, Chaplain, Bereavement coordinator, Volunteer coordinator and Volunteers who support the terminally ill and their families during the final six months of life. Each disipline works together with the families to bring them to a place where death is dignified, painless, and accompanied. Volunteers are an equal part of the team and play the part of non-judgemental companion and another set of ears to hear the needs and fears of the patient and their loved ones.
