Association for Development through Education

Organization Description:

ADE has initially directed its services to the Vara Blanca region of Costa Rica that was decimated by a low-lying 6.4 (Richter scale) earthquake on January 8th, 2009. In the future, ADE will replicate its education and discipleship-focused development model by training local leaders to offer assistance to other post-disaster and marginalized regions across the globe. The current projects include: the areas first secondary school, adult night classes, local library and internet cafe, agriculture and ecology projects, and hosting educational groups to benefit these community initiatives.
