Avenue helps men to be freed from destructive sexual lifestyles and habitual porn porn addiction and heal from the brokenness of so-called sexual freedoms that have been destructive to them, their lives and their families. We offer women hope and healing from sexual betrayal and infidelity, helping her to make wise choice for herself and her children's future. We help men and women restore their marriages. Whether one is the sinner, or the sinned against, both people are truly victims of the popular world view. We equip people to truly understand and live according to God s view of personal integrity, and we trust God to turn hearts so that transformation is life changing. We equip churches, counselors, and individuals to offer help, hope and healing to these individuals living in sexual brokenness. We offer resources and Avenue support groups nationally, and internationally. We have been humbled to witness many thousands of restored lives, marriages and families. Our experience has taught us that people don't need just information, they don't need just a group, they emphatically need both. With a laser focus, we help people heal from wounds created through sexual compromise, and restore to wholeness, body, soul, and spirit.
AVENUE helps men and women be healed from the damage that 'sexual freedom' on the world s terms causes. We believe that God's view of our sexuality is the most fulfilling, life giving, and loving expression of the sexual experience.
We believe the Bible to be the only infallible, authoritative Word of God, a factual history book, God's love letter to you, and His instruction book for life.
We believe God is three persons: Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ.
We believe that to be saved to eternal life in heaven, each person needs a spiritual rebirth through the Holy Spirit by faith in Jesus Christ. We believe every person receives that invitation by Jesus through the Spirit, yes, even in the middle of Africa where they've never heard His name. We believe when innocents, infants and unborn babies die, they go to heaven.
We believe in God's grace, mercy and forgiveness for our failings. A Christian will still fail at times because all people are broken and imperfect. We believe He extends these again and again, as we humbly recognize how we have hurt others, ourselves, and our relationship with Him.
We believe Christ's followers should be in community with fellow believers for encouragement, prayer, and meeting one another's needs.
We believe that Christians are called to care for the defenseless, abandoned, orphaned, widowed, and impoverished people of this world, meeting their physical needs as well as their spiritual and emotional needs.
We believe all people are created equal, and have the same value in God's eyes, from the moment of conception, until their natural death, no matter their value to another human being. As our creator, we believe God is the ultimate authority on the proper care of our sexuality.
This doesn't exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind. All scripture must be taken in context of the whole of Biblical sequence of events in history.
