Organization Description: 

The Eastern Mediterranean International School (EMIS) is a unique international boarding high school with a mission of making education a force for peace, sustainability and entrepreneurship in the Middle east. Located at Hakfar Hayarok , a Youth Village and an educational campus at the center of Israel, EMIS fosters intercultural understanding and promotes personal and social leadership . Through a shared two-year educational and living experience EMIS educates towards values of respect . diversity and global citizenship . Our students are Israelis ( Jews, Christians and Muslims) , Palestinian Arabs and Muslims from the Middle East and North Africa countries (MENA) and International ( Christians) from over 40 countries around the world. Our students complete the rigorous two-year International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program and participate in a rich extracurricular and community program. Our students are scholarship recipients and many aim to go to the best European and American schools.
