Organization Description: 

Bethesda Outreach Ministries is a 501(c) (3), established in
1984 for the purpose of ministering to the educational, spiritual, and materials needs of the youths and at -risk families in the Newtown and surrounding areas of Sarasota.. Our Ministry programs restores families and help young people develop healthy , positive lifestyles that will impact their world.
Our programs are, 1. Afterschool, grades 1-9(math,reading and remedial studies. 2. Young Champion: ages(5-12)they
learn character building,& craft, games, outings included.
3. City Life-(13-18) college preparation, job skills, positive christian activities-self esteem, moral responsibility etc.
4. Mentoring one on one- a friend to listen
5. Music school, youths with skills remain in school longer
6. Single parenting- education and advice for single parents
