Bonita Park Nazarene Camp and Conference Center

Organization Description:

Bonita Park is a Christian camp located in the beautiful mountains of South Central New Mexico at an elevation of about 7000 feet on 200 acres of tree covered woodlands. Our setting is peaceful and serene and provides an atmosphere for quality retreats. We are a year round operation and can accommodate retreats for youth and adults. Bonita Park hosts youth summer camps, family camps, family reunions, and winter retreats. We have a variety of lodging and meeting rooms that will accommodate up up to 350 guests. We offer a wide range of activities including indoor and outdoor activities for all ages with different abilities and strengths. The resort village of Ruidoso and the snow-covered slopes of Ski Apache are nearby. The camp suffered damages from the Little Bear Fire in June of 2012 and we need volunteers to help with the rebuilding of some facilities and also to help with the loss of some of our volunteers due to loss from the fire.

Mission Statement:

The mission of Bonita Park is to provide a place for spiritual enrichment, social development, physical activity and mental renewal in a Christ-centered atmosphere.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

We believe:
n one God: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
That the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.

That man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore inclined to evil, and that continually.
That the finally unrepentant are hopelessly and eternally lost.
That the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race, and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
That believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
That the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
That our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgement will take place.
