Bridge Builders
Our mission is to mobilize the different parts of the community and city, especially in the faith based community, to provide transformation and restoration to the local community and across our city. Our primary locations and focus are in Wheatley Courts which was built during the 1940S for low and moderate income families. It is known as one of San Antonio's oldest developments. In addition to the physical repairs needed in the surrounding neighborhood, the community is in great need of a safer and stronger, family and community based structure. We desire to provide this structure by connecting the residents of the Eastside Community with a variety of partners and services to build a stronger neighborhood that fosters safety, education in the areas of scholastic and life skills, mentoring, and job training.
