Door of Hope started as many organizations have, one person dared to dream of a future where life would be better.

It all began in the 90's when we noticed a large number of people sleeping under trees and in places not meant for human habitation and also people pursuing of work and other opportunities, there was a quick realization in the lack of employment opportunities available in the Eastern part of Uganda.we formed a group of believers and started a church.we cater for those who are homeless and children who are orphans as a result HIV/AIDS Epidamic.Through God's continuous blessing of the ministry, Busoga Volunteers has been able to expand its reach to single fathers and mothers and is starting to be a model for many other transitional programs throughout the Uganda. We look to always grow in to a ministry that is driven by the Lord and will always look for new ways to continue the our dream of helping those who need it.
