Camp Deerpark

Organization Description:

Ministry
A place of spiritual, physical and emotional renewal for adults and children, Camp Deerpark is nestled in the Catskill Mountains just 80 miles north west of New York City. Owned and operated (as a non-profit organization) by the New York City Mennonite Churches, Camp Deerpark offers people of all ages, races, and backgrounds the opportunity to enjoy Christian camping at an affordable price.

The primary ministry of Camp Deerpark is our summer children's camp where we offer sleep-away camps for children ages 8-17. We hire a majority of our staff from within the NYC Mennonite churches, which through the years has proven to be a great leadership training experience.

Camp Deerpark also hosts a variety of church groups throughout the year. It is the goal of the camp staff to share the love of Christ with every person that comes onto the camp grounds.
